Does a simulation provision cloud resources?
No. Cloud World Model runs a virtual infrastructure model. A simulated outage, scaling action, or cost estimate does not change your AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Oracle Cloud, or DigitalOcean account. Validate decisions with your own workload and provider bill before deploying.
Can I use Cloud World Model without an API key?
The hosted playground offers demo flows. Authenticated API operations require a key (or supported x402 payment on eligible endpoints). The free allowance is 1,000 credits; see the current pricing page for metering, limits and paid options.
Are the cost and latency outputs a guarantee?
No. Results are model outputs, not a quote or a production SLO. Pricing assumptions, traffic shape, region, configuration and unmodeled services can all affect actual outcomes. The accuracy and fidelity pages distinguish measured validation from documentation-backed assumptions.
How is simulated chaos different from production fault injection?
CWM injects failure scenarios into a simulation and reports modeled resilience. AWS Fault Injection Service runs controlled experiments against real AWS resources. Use simulated chaos to explore a hypothesis safely; use a production-capable experiment tool with safeguards when real-world validation is needed.
Can an agent train on the simulator?
Yes. The RL environment API exposes episode creation, step and reset operations with observations and rewards. A policy trained against a model may not transfer unchanged to production: compare it with real telemetry and test guardrails before rollout.
